SUNDAY SCROLL: Because Your Brain Deserves Better Than "A.I. Pollution"
Something new to read, watch, look at, listen to and do to #bemorehuman.
I’m on holiday with my family. No time to explain. Here’s what you need to know this week to #bemorehuman. Cheers, Nx

Mind blowing post about how low quality, valueless A.I. content is already polluting the Internet, how it directly affects you, your kids, and what needs to be done about it.
I use A.I. of course I do, but to amplify a core piece of hand-crafted content, not to generate manure by the sack!

To prove I am not anti-tech but pro-human, here’s a really interesting and balanced perspective on A.I. art vs. ‘content’.

If you’ve actually read the first link and watched the second you should be able to see theme emerging in this brilliant comic strip from creative industry satirist Marketoonist.

Due to the time constraints I shall take this opportunity to recommend my own podcast ‘The Business of Storytelling’, in which I interview professional storytellers from the business world in depth. This week’s episode features Nadia Abdullah, Director of Editorial & Content for Visa but you can of course subscribe for more on Spotify, Apple, YouTube & Vimeo.

Just before boarding the flight to my holiday destination I did something I haven’t done in years, I bought a magazine! The latest issue of Tatler, featuring one of Singapore’s most brilliant and controversial literary voices Amanda Lee Koe, looked so elegant and understated amongst the other titles that I picked it up (and what a delight to see an author on a cover not just a ‘celebrity’). Inside I was further delighted to find long-form articles featuring fresh perspectives not based on my prior magazine-buying-history and artful ads made with care and a decent budget as opposed to shitty pop-ups that simply obscure the screen. All this for less than S$9 AND no headache from staring at a screen for 2.5 hours on the flight!
So, this week, try picking up a magazine to support great photography and journalism and get a break from the ubiquitous feed!
